Volleyball Recap: Taunton Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Emily Dias and Sadie Herry

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Taunton came up short against Oliver Ames, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Taunton of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-16, 25-16.

Taunton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sadie Herry, who had ten digs, and Emily Dias, who had four aces and three digs. Herry is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Lindsey Solomon was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Taunton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Oliver Ames, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Taunton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Attleboro on the 9th. As for Oliver Ames, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mansfield on the 9th.
