Basketball Recap: New Diana Takes a Loss

New Diana was the 50-45 winner over Daingerfield when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The New Diana Eagles took a 64-50 bruising from the Daingerfield Tigers on Saturday.

New Diana has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Daingerfield, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Diana will take on Hughes Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Daingerfield, they will challenge Harmony at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
