Baseball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Bradford and DuBois had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Owls came up short against the Beavers on Tuesday, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for DuBois, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bradford is set to take on their familiar foe Punxsutawney at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, DuBois will square off against rival Brookville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
