Basketball Recap: Nate Raab's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chenango Forks over Owego Free Academy

Chenango Forks lost against Owego Free Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chenango Forks Blue Devils took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owego Free Academy River Hawks.

Chenango Forks lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nate Raab, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Paske, who posted seven points and seven boards.

Chenango Forks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Owego Free Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Windsor Central the next time they take the court. Owego Free Academy will head out to face Windsor Central at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, while Chenango Forks will host them at 1:45 p.m. on December 21st.
