Basketball Recap: Georgia Military College Bulldogs vs. Wilkinson County Warriors

Georgia Military College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-40 loss at the hands of the Wilkinson County Warriors. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Benjamin Vaughn, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points and six boards. Those 16 points gave Vaughn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tommy Carty, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Georgia Military College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Wilkinson County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
