Cheshire won the last time they faced Amity Regional and things went their way on Monday too. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Cheshire never let Amity Regional on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 26-24.

Matti Lilback paced Cheshire's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lilback got some help from Bradley Fang and his 31 assists. Finally, Thomas Superchi and James O'Connor kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Cheshire's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Amity Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Cheshire will take on Glastonbury at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Amity Regional, they will square off against Pomperaug at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
