Volleyball Recap: Boone Wins Going Away Against Ocoee

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olympia, Boone was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ocoee Knights.

While Boone won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-15.

Jeremiah Greenwood paced Boone's offense, picking up 12 kills. Greenwood got some help from Jackson Ayoung-Chee and his 29 assists. Greenwood was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Boone's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. As for Ocoee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Boone will take on Jones in a tournament on Friday. As for Ocoee, they will be taking part in a tournament against Evans at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
