Basketball Recap: ALA - Ironwood Wins Going Away Against Tolleson

ALA - Ironwood posted their biggest victory since December 3, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past the Tolleson Wolverines 67-46. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

ALA - Ironwood had a senior duo take command as Noah Adkins went 8 for 16 on his way to 23 points and five assists and Blake Anderson went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. The contest was Adkins' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Hunter Ll, who posted ten points.

Tolleson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nuul Deng, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points and seven boards, and Rico Blassingame, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tafuma Abston, who had six points and 11 boards.

ALA - Ironwood's record is now 9-4. As for Tolleson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

ALA - Ironwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-33 win against Northwest Christian on the 8th. As for Tolleson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-48 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 10th.
