Volleyball Game Preview: Elbert Bulldogs vs. The Colorado Springs School Kodiaks + How To Watch

The Elbert Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on The Colorado Springs School Kodiaks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Elbert didn't have quite enough to beat Evangel Christian Academy and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Elbert wouldn't go down easily and took Evangel Christian Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-12, 25-17, 20-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for The Colorado Springs School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Liberty Tree Academy with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Kodiaks have beaten the War Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the War Eagles has come to flipping the script.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

The Colorado Springs School's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Elbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Elbert came up short against The Colorado Springs School when the teams last played back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
