Volleyball Recap: Aragon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Aragon was the 2-1 winner over Menlo-Atherton when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Dons fell 3-1 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-14, 25-9.

Caitlyn Robertson paced Aragon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Robertson got some help from Devyn Lee and her 23 assists. Finally, Eseta Nisa kept Aragon's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Menlo-Atherton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylie Winters led the charge by getting 13 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Teagan Forcier-Koranda, who had 11 assists and five digs.

Aragon's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Menlo-Atherton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-8 record this season.
