MEEKER, Colo. - A big 14-point second quarter helped carry the Bulldogs to a 27-0 victory over
Meeker (Colo.) on Saturday.
Hotchkiss scored on a
Tanner Bizer touchdown pass to
Chris Allen and a Bizer touchdown run in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Bizer touchdown run in the first quarter, HHS was up 21-0 at the half.
The Bulldogs came into the game allowing 14.8 points per game. Meeker's zero points were well below their season average of 32.3 per game.
A 35-12 Hotchkiss victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The win was a nice bounce back for HHS, which lost to Paonia last week, 21-0. The loss was the fourth in a row for Meeker.
