Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Fallston's Winning Streak

After a string of five wins, Fallston's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Patterson Mill Huskies by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Fallston was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Patterson Mill work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Sloane Mister paced Fallston's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mister got some help from Emma Chasan and her 20 assists. Abbi Wagener controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Fallston's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Patterson Mill, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3-2.

Looking ahead, Fallston will head out to square off against Bel Air at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patterson Mill, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Joppatowne at 5:00 p.m.
