Basketball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Pleasant Home Eagles, falling 50-2. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-11 on January 10th.

Emmanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pleasant Home, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Emmanuel Christian will challenge Slocomb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Home, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-16 defeat against Kinston on the 28th.
