Volleyball Recap: Everglades Prep Academy Comes Up Short

The Everglades Prep Academy Panther lost 3-0 to Sports Leadership & Management on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-11.

Sports Leadership & Management's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joelis Rodriguez, who had 40 assists and four aces. Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least four every time she's taken the court this season. Kimey Argarate was another key player, getting ten aces and five kills.

Everglades Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sports Leadership & Management is taking a road trip to face off against American at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everglades Prep Academy will be paying especially close attention to Sports Leadership & Management's matchup: after Sports Leadership & Management face off against MAST Academy, they'll take on Everglades Prep Academy again at 5:00 p.m. on September 10.
