Baseball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson and Barbers Hill squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Anderson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Anderson and nudges their season record down to 20-8. As for Barbers Hill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 31-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Anderson by a score of 2-0 later that day.
