Football Game Preview: Beddingfield Bruins vs. Princeton Bulldogs

Beddingfield hasn't had much luck against Princeton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Beddingfield has given up an average of 39.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Beddingfield took a blow against Greene Central, falling 55-14.

Kameron Pitt put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 52 yards.

Meanwhile, Princeton earned a 50-42 win over Rosewood on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Princeton found their leader in sophomore Teo McPhatter, who rushed for 208 yards and four scores. Gerell Bogle was another key player, rushing for 59 yards and one touchdown.

Princeton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 205 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Princeton's record is now 6-4. As for Beddingfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Beddingfield was taken down by Princeton 49-12 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bruins were down 35-12.
