Softball Recap: Strath Haven Wins Going Away Against Upper Darby

Strath Haven barely beat Upper Darby the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Royals 11-4 on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Strath Haven has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Upper Darby, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Strath Haven wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-0 loss against Haverford on the 23rd. As for Upper Darby, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Valley Forge Military Academy on the 22nd.
