Softball Recap: Loudon Find Success

While Loudon's win against Polk County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Loudon came out on top in a nail-biter against Polk County on Friday, sneaking past 3-1. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Loudon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Polk County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Loudon will welcome McMinn Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Polk County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roane County at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.
