The home team had won the previous six meetings between Creek Wood and Sycamore, and Creek Wood kept the tradition alive. The Red Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the War Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory back in April.

Brody Butts tossed a big game, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
