On Tuesday Kellan Burge didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. The performance also marked the fewest walks (three) Burge has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the season, he has an ERA of 3.34 over 35.7 innings pitched.

Even though Burge couldn't lead Stone over Gautier, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
