Milford hadn't done well against Lakeland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Mavericks came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pierson got some help from Delaney Heflin and her 21 assists. Millie Ashcroft controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
