Fall River extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-3 in the process. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Rio Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Tuesday.

As for Rio, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked their highest-scoring game to date.

For Rio's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Becker, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. That double was Becker's first of the season. Another was Cooper Krakow, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fall River beat Rio by a score of 10-6 on Friday.
