Basketball Recap: Northside Snaps 11-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Northside's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Harrold Hornets 54-34. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colt Ford, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Rance Teague, who posted ten points and four steals.

Northside's win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Harrold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will welcome Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harrold has already played their next matchup (against Crowell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
