Covenant Day has gone 9-1 against Cannon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Covenant Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Covenant Day put the hurt on Ambassador Christian School with a sharp 4-1 win. With Covenant Day ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

They hit Ambassador Christian School with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Farrow, Henry Neil, Jack Freace, and Brady Johnson.

Meanwhile, Cannon kept a clean sheet against Winston Salem Christian on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Lions.

Covenant Day is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those six matchups. As for Cannon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-1.

Covenant Day beat Cannon by a goal in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
