Wamego skates past Wellington with ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Wamego Red Raiders had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over Wellington. Considering Wamego has won nine games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Wamego pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37 points. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Wamego has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Andover Central at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Andover Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Wellington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
