Football Game Recap: East Prairie vs. Portageville

On Friday, East Prairie were out to avenge their 38-50 loss to Portageville from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. East Prairie suffered a grim 28-52 defeat to Portageville. The state rankings had actually given East Prairie a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The defeat dropped East Prairie's record to 2-5. The win bumped Portageville's record up to 3-4.

Next week East Prairie take on Charleston at 7:00 PM. Charleston are cruising in on a five-game winning streak. As for Portageville, they will face off against Perryville. Perryville are limping into the match on a three-game losing streak.
