Republic waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Webb City Cardinals as they made off with a 73-50 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Republic pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Webb City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Republic is facing Neosho at the right time seeing as Neosho is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Webb City, they will challenge Carthage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
