Basketball Preview: Ogilvie Lions vs. Mora Mustangs
Ogilvie and the Mustangs are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Ogilvie Lions will be playing at home against the Mora Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Ogilvie is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mustangs in Minnesota (the Lions are ranked 103rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 326th).
Ogilvie can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by St. Paul Central on the road to the tune of 81-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ogilvie.
Meanwhile, Mora's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 39-23 to Legacy Christian Academy.
Ogilvie's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Mora, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
Ogilvie was able to grind out a solid victory over the Mustangs in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 62-51. Does Ogilvie have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
