There's no place like home for Smyrna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Delmarva Christian Royals on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Smyrna now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Delmarva Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smyrna will square off against Caesar Rodney at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Riders at the right time seeing as the Riders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Delmarva Christian, they will face off against Lake Forest at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
