Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ellison). They were the clear victor by an 84-64 margin over the Northtown Pumas on Friday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ellison and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Northtown, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellison won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fasman Yeshiva at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northtown, they and Maine South will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Northtown is facing Maine South at the right time seeing as Maine South is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
