After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Smyrna Beach, Matanzas was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Bolles Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Matanzas were the better team in the second half.

Matanzas has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. As for Bolles, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Matanzas will welcome Taylor at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bolles, they will challenge St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
