Basketball Recap: Chatsworth's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chatsworth couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 66-53 to the Jesuit Marauders on Saturday. The match marked the Chancellors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jesuit got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maison Phillips out in front who went 6-for-10 en route to 19 points. Those 19 points gave Phillips a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Schroeder, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

The loss snapped Chatsworth's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 26-9 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points over those games. As for Jesuit, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-9.
