Mayfair waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Lynwood Knights as they made off with a 21-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 last Tuesday.

Mayfair got a great performance from David Perez as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Perez a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aidan Sullivan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nolan Fox, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Mayfair always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mayfair's record now sits at 15-6. As for Lynwood, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mayfair will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
