Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brooklynn Lowder and Sam Kerley Lead Rochester to Victory

Rochester won the last time they faced East St. Louis and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Flyers.

Leading Rochester to victory were Sam Kerley and Brooklynn Lowder. Kerley had nine digs and three assists, while Lowder had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Lowder has posted over her last six contests.

Rochester has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for East St. Louis, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-22.

Rochester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against O'Fallon on the 18th. As for East St. Louis, they are taking a road trip to face off against Edwardsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
