Basketball Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

On Friday, the McArthur Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Gulf Coast Sharks and fell 60-57. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Sharks 15-10 in the first quarter.

McArthur's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Gulf Coast, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
