Volleyball Recap: Community's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Community had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Battle Creek Grizzlies by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Vikings/Viqueens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

The win didn't come easy: Battle Creek scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 13-25, 26-24.

Community's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Battle Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Community is set to face off against their familiar foe Giles County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Battle Creek will square off against rival Forrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
