Volleyball Recap: McCool Junction Mustangs vs. Palmer Tigers
McCool Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Palmer Tigers.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.
Makenna Mottl was the offensive standout of the game as she had three digs and three aces. Mottl is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.
McCool Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Palmer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
McCool Junction will venture away from home to face off against Newman Grove/St. Edward at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Palmer, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Heartland Lutheran at 5:00 p.m.
