Softball Preview: Durango Trailblazers vs. Legacy Longhorns
The Durango Trailblazers will head out on the road to face off against the Legacy Longhorns at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Legacy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Durango, who comes in off a win.
After only two runs in their last match, Durango made sure to put some runs up on the board against Desert Pines on Wednesday. Durango came out on top in a nail-biter against Desert Pines and snuck past 17-16. Durango's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Juliana Martinez and Peyton McCullough did most of the damage at the plate: Martinez went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI, while McCullough went 2-for-5 with a home run, four runs, and three RBI.
