Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Logan-Magnolia Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2025.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Logan-Magnolia, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat Riverside by a score of 6-5 later that day.
