Softball Recap: South Bronx Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

South Bronx managed to slip by South Bronx Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Phoenix lost 19-4 to the Cougars on Tuesday. The match marked the Phoenix's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South Bronx's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for South Bronx Prep, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, South Bronx will challenge Metropolitan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Bronx Prep, they will take on Bronx United at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Pythons at the right time seeing as the Pythons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
