After only two runs in their last match, Tolleson made sure to put some runs up on the board against Shadow Ridge on Monday. The Tolleson Wolverines blew past the Shadow Ridge Stallions 12-4. That looming 12-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolverines yet this season.

DIEGO SERNA tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on ANTHONY RAMIREZ, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of FEDERICO IBARRA, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

Tolleson's win bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Shadow Ridge, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tolleson will take on Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Shadow Ridge, they will challenge Kofa at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Shadow Ridge has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
