Baseball Recap: Medina Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Medina strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Royalton-Hartland Rams. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Preston Woodworth, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Royalton-Hartland off the board. Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Woodworth.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Kroening, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Those hits were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Fry, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Royalton-Hartland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
