Basketball Recap: South Beauregard Takes a Loss

South Beauregard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 68-54 to the Midland Rebels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-43 last Tuesday.

South Beauregard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Midland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

South Beauregard won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Breaux Bridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Midland, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Church Point at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
