Mo Hussein Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Deer Trail's Mo Hussein, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hussein forced a fumble and made ten total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making ten total tackles.

Hanover Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Tyler Decker
Hanover picked up their fifth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Tyler Decker. Decker turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Bethune had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Decker it was a similar story. Decker threw for 147 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 passes the last time he and the Bobcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Manzanola had to settle for second on Friday, but Craig Pittmann sure wasn't going down easily. Pittmann turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 50 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Manzanola dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Pittmann and Manzanola will take on Kiowa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Jayden Mingee Leads Deer Trail over Manzanola
On Friday, Deer Trail got the W thanks in part to Jayden Mingee playing the best football he has all season. Mingee picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.
For the year, Mingee has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 59.4 receiving yards per game.
