Soccer Game Preview: Colonial Forge vs. Riverbend

Colonial Forge is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Riverbend is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Colonial Forge was able to grind out a solid win over Mountain View, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Riverbend kept a clean sheet against North Stafford on Friday. They blew past the Wolverines 6-0. Give Riverbend's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Riverbend's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Colonial Forge, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Colonial Forge came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverbend in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
