Last Thursday, Webster came up short against Groton and fell 55-43. The Bearcats have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Great Plains Lutheran entered their tilt with Elkton/Lake Benton on Saturday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They strolled past the Elks with points to spare, taking the game 51-36.

Great Plains Lutheran pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Webster, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Webster came up short against Great Plains Lutheran in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 40-28. Can Webster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
