Hillsboro entered their tilt with Abbott on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Abbott, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will venture away from home to take on Connally at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Abbott, they will head out to face off against Dawson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
