Basketball Recap: Greenville Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

Hoosick Falls typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Greenville proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 52-41 win over the Hoosick Falls Panthers. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Spartans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Panthers are ranked 88th).

Greenville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points over those games. Hoosick Falls' loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-4.

As of now, neither Greenville nor Hoosick Falls have any future games scheduled.
