Football Game Preview: Middlesex vs. Dayton

Dayton will challenge Middlesex on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Dayton come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

There's no need to mince words: Dayton lost to Bound Brook last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-50. Dayton were down by 6-44 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Middlesex were fully in charge, breezing past Spotswood 47-7.the rankings were on Middlesex's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result

Middlesex's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Dayton's loss dropped them down to 1-4. In their victory, Middlesex relied heavily on junior Cary Hamrah, who rushed for 129 yards and 1 touchdown. Dayton will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
