Volleyball Recap: Helix Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Helix won the last time they faced High Tech SD, and Nathan Steele did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Helix Highlanders' way against the High Tech SD Storm on Thursday as the Helix Highlanders made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Steele, who had 19 digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last nine contests.

One reason for the win was Helix's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Helix and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for High Tech SD, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Helix wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Patrick Henry on the 14th. High Tech SD has also already played their next matchup (against Hilltop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
